AAU International Students Participate in “Experience China: Exploring Medical Wisdom, Envisioning the Future”
本网讯 近日，由国家留学基金管理委员会主办、安徽医科大学承办的“感知中国——智汇医理 感知未来”中外学生探索中国健康新生态实践活动在合肥举办，学校国际教育学院选派6名来自巴基斯坦、基里巴斯、尼泊尔的来华留学生参加活动，在沉浸式体验中感知中国健康事业的发展与传统文化的魅力。
Recently, the “Experience China: Exploring Medical Wisdom, Envisioning the Future” program for Chinese and international students was held in Hefei. Hosted by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) and organized by Anhui Medical University, the program brought together students for an immersive exploration of China’s advances in healthcare and the richness of its traditional culture. Six international students from Pakistan, Kiribati, and Nepal were selected by the School of International Education of Anhui Agricultural University to participate.
活动期间，留学生们首先走进安徽省红十字应急救护培训安医大工作站，在专业教师的指导下学习心肺复苏、创伤包扎等急救技能，通过实操演练掌握了基础急救知识，深刻体会到现代医学在公共健康保障中的重要作用。
During the program, the international students first visited the Anhui Red Cross Emergency Rescue Training Workstation of Anhui Medical University. Under the guidance of professional instructors, they learned essential first-aid skills including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and wound dressing. Through hands-on practice, they mastered basic first-aid knowledge and gained a deep appreciation for the important role modern medicine plays in safeguarding public health.
随后，大家前往源古靖城文化体验基地，在参观传统文化展陈的同时，亲手体验中药香囊制作，在碾药、配伍、装囊的过程中感受中医药文化的博大精深。
The students then visited the Yuangu Jingcheng Cultural Experience Base, where they explored displays of traditional Chinese culture and made traditional Chinese medicinal sachets themselves. As they ground herbs, prepared herbal mixtures, and filled the sachets, they truly felt the profound depth and richness of traditional Chinese medicine.
活动最后，留学生们参观了安徽医科大学新医科中心，了解学校在智慧医疗、医工交叉等领域的最新研究成果，并在中外学生交流座谈会上分享各自的学习体会，围绕医学发展、健康科普等话题展开热烈讨论。
The program concluded with a visit to the New Medical Science Center at Anhui Medical University, where the students gained an insight into the university’s latest research achievements in areas such as smart healthcare and medical-engineering integration. They also took part in an exchange session with Chinese students, sharing their experiences and engaging in lively discussions on topics including medical advancement and health education.
“感知中国”是国家留学基金委打造的来华留学生国情教育品牌活动，旨在引导来华留学生走出课堂，在实践中读懂真实、立体、全面的中国。学校国际教育学院长期重视来华留学生的文化融入与国情教育，多次组织学生参与“感知中国”系列活动。未来学院将继续搭建更多中外文化交流平台，助力留学生在学习专业知识的同时，深入了解中国的发展成就与文化精髓，成长为中外友好交流的使者。
“Experience China” is a flagship program launched by the China Scholarship Council to help international students gain a deeper understanding of China through social practice and cultural experiences beyond the classroom. The School of International Education of Anhui Agricultural University has long attached importance to national conditions education and the cultural integration of international students and has regularly organized students to participate in the “Experience China” program. Moving forward, the School will continue to provide more opportunities for Chinese and international students to engage in cultural exchange and mutual learning, helping international students deepen their understanding of China’s development and cultural heritage while pursuing their academic studies, and encouraging them to serve as bridges of friendship and understanding between China and the rest of the world.
