School of International Education Holds Orientation Activities for the 2026 Cohort of International Students

本网讯 新学期伊始，2026级来华留学生迎新报到工作顺利完成。为帮助新生全面了解安徽农业大学，尽快适应在华学习生活，增强法规意识，做好学业规划，国际教育学院精心组织内容丰富、形式多样的入学教育系列活动，为国际新生上好来华留学“第一课”。

As the new semester began, registration for the 2026 cohort of international students was successfully completed. To help new students gain a comprehensive understanding of Anhui Agricultural University, adapt to their study and life in China, develop an awareness of Chinese laws, university rules and regulations, and make academic plans, the School of International Education organized a diverse range of orientation activities to provide international students with their "first lesson" on studying in China.

新生报到结束后，学院有序开展系列专题入学教育，内容涵盖法律法规、校规校纪、住宿管理、奖学金政策、汉语学习、医疗保险、心理健康、消防安全等。此外，学院邀请琥珀派出所警官开展专题安全教育，围绕禁毒法规、外国人住宿登记、防范电信诈骗、交通安全等内容进行宣讲，进一步增强新生安全意识和法治意识。同时，学院组织入学教育综合测试，检验学习成效；开展校史校情教育，组织新生参观校史馆、熟悉校园环境，帮助新生了解学校发展历程和文化底蕴。

Following registration, the School organized a series of orientation sessions covering laws and regulations, university rules and regulations, accommodation management, scholarship policies, Chinese language learning, medical insurance, mental health education, and fire safety. In addition, a police officer from Hupo Police Station, was invited to deliver a special safety education session, introducing topics including anti-drug regulations, accommodation registration for foreign nationals, telecom fraud prevention, and traffic safety. The session further enhanced students’ safety awareness and understanding of relevant laws and regulations. The School also conducted an orientation assessment to evaluate learning outcomes and arranged visits to the University History Museum and campus tours, helping new students better understand the university’s history, development, and cultural heritage.

9月15日上午，2026级来华留学生新生入学教育大会举行。国际教育学院院长代表学院对来自三十多个国家的新生表示热烈欢迎，希望同学们珍惜来华求学机会，积极适应校园生活，认真学习专业知识，加强交流互鉴，在安徽农业大学收获知识与成长。

On the morning of September 15, the orientation meeting for the 2026 cohort of international students was held. The dean of the School of International Education, extended a warm welcome to new students from more than 30 countries on behalf of the School. He encouraged students to cherish their study opportunities in China, adapt to campus life, devote themselves to their studies, engage in cross-cultural exchanges, and gain knowledge and achieve personal growth at Anhui Agricultural University.

合肥市出入境管理局警官围绕出入境政策、居留许可办理、签证管理等内容开展涉外政策法规专题宣讲，强调来华留学生合法居留的重要性，引导新生增强法律意识，依法依规开展在华学习生活。

Xuan Yingying, a police officer from the Hefei Exit Entry Administration Bureau, gave a special lecture on foreign related policies and regulations, focusing on entry procedures, residence permit applications, and visa management. She emphasized the importance of maintaining legal residence status in China and encouraged new students to enhance their legal awareness and pursue their studies in China in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

本科生院教务科为新生解读本科人才培养方案，对课程设置、教学安排、学籍管理、毕业相关要求进行细致讲解。

The section chief of Academic Affairs of the Undergraduate School, introduced the undergraduate training program and provided a detailed explanation of curriculum arrangements, teaching schedules, student status management, and graduation requirements.

研究生院学籍与教学管理办介绍研究生培养方案，围绕科研要求、学位申请流程与注意事项开展说明，帮助新生厘清学业目标。

The Director of the Student Status and Teaching Management Office of the Graduate School, introduced the postgraduate training program. He explained research requirements, degree application procedures and related considerations to help new postgraduate students clarify their academic goals.

园艺学院温波教授作为导师代表发言，围绕科研诚信、学术规范、良好导学关系构建与科研方法等方面与新生分享交流，勉励同学们恪守学术底线，踏实开展科学研究。

Professor Wen Bo from the College of Horticulture, as a faculty representative, shared insights with new students on research integrity, academic standards, building sound supervisor-student relationships, and research methods. He encouraged students to uphold academic ethics and conduct research in a rigorous and practical manner.

老生代表、生命科学学院乌兹别克斯坦籍博士生乔菲分享学习生活经验，鼓励新生积极交流。新生代表、经济与管理学院巴基斯坦籍博士生李云感谢学校的培养平台，表示将尽快适应校园、努力学习。

Qiao Fei, an Uzbek doctoral student from the College of Life Sciences and a representative of senior students, shared her study and life experiences and encouraged new students to communicate actively. Li Yun, a Pakistani doctoral student at the School of Economics and Management and a representative of new students, expressed gratitude for the learning opportunities provided by the university and stated that they would adapt to campus life as soon as possible and study diligently.

大会最后，学院组织开展电动自行车交通安全专题教育，进一步增强国际新生交通安全意识。

At the close of the meeting, the School organized a special session on electric bicycle traffic safety to further enhance international students’ awareness of traffic safety.

本次入学教育系列活动坚持学业引导与安全教育并重，帮助国际新生进一步熟悉学校管理要求、了解培养体系、提升安全意识，为新生顺利开启在安农的学习生活奠定了良好基础。

This series of orientation activities places equal emphasis on academic guidance and safety education, helping international students better understand university requirements, become familiar with academic training requirements, and enhance their safety awareness. It provides a solid foundation for their study and life at Anhui Agricultural University.
