School of International Education Organizes International Students to Participate in the 2026 “Experiencing China · Perceiving Anhui” Social Practice Week
本网讯 7月4日至7日，国际教育学院选派5名来华留学生参加由共青团安徽省委、省教育厅、省外办、省青联、省学联联合主办的“发现皖美之美——行知中国・感知安徽”2026年中外大学生社会实践周活动。本次社会实践，我院学子与全省13所高校120名中外学生组成联合实践团，统一赴潜山、铜陵开展实地研学，走出校园课堂、深入基层一线，全方位、立体化感受安徽的红色底蕴、人文魅力与高质量发展活力。
From July 4 to 7, the School of International Education selected five international students to take part in the 2026 “Discovering the Beauty of Anhui: Experiencing China · Perceiving Anhui” Social Practice Week for Chinese and International University Students. The event was jointly hosted by the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, the Anhui Provincial Department of Education, the Foreign Affairs Office of Anhui Provincial People’s Government, the Anhui Provincial Youth Federation, and the Anhui Students’ Federation. The participating students from our university joined a practice group of 120 Chinese and international students from 13 universities across the province and took part in field study activities in Qianshan and Tongling. Stepping out of the classroom and into local communities, the students gained a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of Anhui’s revolutionary heritage, cultural charm, and vitality for high-quality development.
活动期间，实践团成员集体前往潜山烈士陵园，系统学习皖西南革命斗争历史。此外，实践团走进山谷流泉摩崖石刻、天柱山博物馆探寻皖源文化，体验官庄桑皮纸、竹编、痘姆古陶非遗制作，赏析黄梅戏，近距离感受本土传统文化独特匠心。转场铜陵后，大家前往铜陵淡水豚国家级自然保护区、大通古镇调研长江生态保护与文旅融合成果，体悟绿色发展理念；走进铜陵有色产业园、金新铜业、犁桥水镇，调研有色金属循环经济、产业科创升级以及文创产业发展成果，真切感受安徽高质量发展成果。研学途中，中外学子围绕文化传承、生态保护、产业转型等议题深入交流，用影像和文字记录所见所闻，以中外视角讲述皖美故事。
During the program, the practice group visited Qianshan Martyrs’ Cemetery and learned about the history of revolutionary struggles in southwestern Anhui. They also explored the origins of Anhui culture by visiting the Valley Spring Cliff Inscriptions and Tianzhu Mountain Geopark Museum, experienced intangible cultural heritage practices such as Guanzhuang mulberry-bark papermaking, bamboo weaving, and Doumu ancient pottery making, and watched Huangmei Opera, developing a close-up appreciation of the distinctive skills and artistic charm of local traditional culture. After moving on to Tongling, the students visited Tongling Freshwater Dolphin National Nature Reserve and Datong Ancient Town to learn about achievements in integrating Yangtze River ecological conservation with culture-tourism development, gaining a deeper understanding of green development. They also visited Tongling Nonferrous Metals Industrial Park, Jinxin Copper Branch of Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group Co., Ltd., and Liqiao Water Town to learn about the circular economy in the non-ferrous metals industry, innovation-driven industrial upgrading, and the development of cultural and creative industries. Throughout the study tour, Chinese and international students engaged in in-depth discussions on cultural heritage, ecological conservation, industrial transformation, and other key topics. They documented their observations and experiences through photos, videos, and written reflections, and shared stories about the beauty of Anhui from both Chinese and international perspectives.
此次“行知中国・感知安徽”中外大学生社会实践周活动是我院落实来华留学生国情教育、完善国际化育人体系的重要实践载体。下一步，我院将持续依托来华留学生文化实践基地，常态化组织来华留学生开展文化体验、跨文化交流活动，引导留学生成为中华文化传播使者，稳步提升学校国际化办学育人实效。
The 2026 “Experiencing China · Perceiving Anhui” Social Practice Week serves as an important platform for the School of International Education to strengthen education on China’s national conditions for international students and improve its internationalized talent cultivation system. Going forward, the School will continue to draw on its cultural practice bases for international students, regularly organize cultural experience and cross-cultural exchange activities, guide international students to become ambassadors of Chinese culture, and further enhance the effectiveness of the university’s international education and talent cultivation.
