AAU Organizes International Students to Participate in the 14th Anhui Cultural Study Tour for International Students
本网讯 6月11日—13日，第十四届“徽山・徽水・徽文化”安徽省外国留学生文化修学活动在黄山举办，学校选派13名来华留学生参与本次沉浸式文化研学，与省内23所高校、45个国家的三百余名国际青年共赴徽州山水之约。
From June 11 to 13, the 14th Anhui Cultural Study Tour for International Students themed “Anhui’s Mountains, Rivers and Huizhou Culture” was held in Huangshan. Our university selected 13 international students to take part in this immersive cultural study program, joining over 300 young international participants from 45 countries across 23 higher education institutions in Anhui to explore the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Huizhou.
本次活动以徽州文化为脉络，设置自然山水、非遗民俗、古建人文三大研学板块。在齐云山，留学生徒步山间，在非遗传承人指导下体验鱼灯彩绘；登临黄山，大家打卡迎客松、光明顶等标志性景观，饱览奇松怪石的山河盛景；走进西递千年古村，穿行徽派古民居建筑群，观摩徽州剪纸、徽派拓印等传统技艺，近距离读懂徽派建筑里的建造巧思与家风文化。
Centered on Huizhou culture, the tour featured three thematic modules: natural landscapes, intangible cultural heritage and folk customs, as well as the history and culture embodied in ancient village architecture. At Qiyun Mountain, the students hiked the trails and learned to paint fish lanterns under the guidance of local intangible cultural heritage practitioners. On Huangshan Mountain, they visited iconic sites including the Guest-Greeting Pine and Bright Summit, admiring spectacular pine trees and grotesque rock formations. In Xidi, a thousand-year-old ancient village, they wandered through clusters of Huizhou-style residences, watched demonstrations of Huizhou paper-cutting and stone rubbing, and gained first-hand insights into the exquisite craftsmanship of Huizhou architecture and traditional family virtues.
行走于山水古村间，留学生们纷纷表示，亲身探访徽州弥补了书本文化内容的局限，秀美山水、传统非遗、千年古村立体鲜活，切身感受到人与自然相融的东方之美。
Roaming through scenic mountains and age-old villages, the international students said that the on-site experience enriched their textbook knowledge. The picturesque landscapes, living heritage and ancient villages presented a vivid panorama of the Chinese aesthetic of harmony between humanity and nature.
此次修学活动是学校落实来华留学生文化育人、推进中外文明互鉴的重要实践。下一步，国际教育学院将持续依托安徽本土特色文化资源，常态化开展各类中外交流实践活动，引导留学生做安徽故事的传播者，以青年对话搭建民心相通桥梁，在文明交流交融中讲好可信、可爱、可敬的中国故事。
This study tour marks a key initiative of our university to cultivate international students through cultural education and promote exchanges between Chinese and foreign civilizations. Going forward, the School of International Education will leverage Anhui’s distinctive cultural resources to host regular exchange programs. We will encourage international students to share stories of Anhui, build bridges of people-to-people bonds through youth dialogue, and present a credible, appealing and respectable image of China amid cultural exchange and integration.
