AAU International Doctoral Student Wins First Prize at the 3rd Jiangsu Universities and 2nd Yangtze River Delta Universities Academic Exchange Event for International Graduate Students

本网讯 10月23日至25日，第三届江苏高校暨第二届长三角高校来华留学研究生学术交流专场活动在江苏大学举行。此次活动由江苏省教育厅指导，上海市教育委员会、浙江省教育厅、安徽省教育厅支持，江苏省高等教育学会外国留学生教育管理分会主办，江苏大学承办。活动以“学术探索与文明互鉴”为主题，汇聚长三角46所高校400余位来华留学研究生及导师，通过主旨报告、分学科研讨、学术墙报展示、优秀论文汇报等形式，为来华留学研究生搭建学术交流与成果展示平台。

From October 23 to 25, the 3rd Jiangsu Universities and 2nd Yangtze River Delta Universities Academic Exchange Event for International Graduate Students was held  at Jiangsu University. Guided by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, and supported by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Department of Education of Zhejiang Province, and Department of Education of Anhui Province, the event was organized by the Foreign Student Education Management Research Committee of Jiangsu Higher Education Association and hosted by Jiangsu University.

Under the theme of "Academic Exploration and Mutual Learning Among Civilizations,” the event gathered over 400 international graduate students and their supervisors from 46 universities in the Yangtze River Delta. The program featured keynote presentations, discipline-based sessions, academic poster presentations, and presentations of outstanding papers, providing international graduate students with a platform for academic exchange and research presentation.

学校蔬菜学专业来华留学博士研究生SARA ANUM受邀参会，在理工农类分会场汇报研究成果，与参会师生深入交流探讨。经评审专家组严格评审，SARA ANUM 荣获本次活动“学术论文一等奖”，其指导教师为袁凌云教授。本次获奖，充分展现了我校来华留学研究生扎实的科研能力、良好的学术素养与精神风貌。

SARA ANUM, an international doctoral student in Olericulture at Anhui Agricultural University, was invited to participate in the event. She delivered a presentation on her research at the Science, Engineering and Agriculture sub-forum and engaged in in-depth discussions with fellow participants. Following a rigorous expert review, SARA ANUM won First Prize in the academic paper category. Her supervisor is Professor Yuan Lingyun. The award highlights the strong research capabilities, solid academic competence, and positive outlook of AAU’s international graduate students.

学校将以此为契机，继续鼓励和支持留学生积极参与高水平的学术交流活动，不断提升其学术创新能力和跨文化理解能力，为培养知华、友华的优秀人才贡献力量。

Building on this achievement, the university will continue to encourage and support international students in participating in high-level academic exchanges to further strengthen their research and innovation capabilities and cross-cultural understanding. Through these efforts, AAU will also continue to enhance the quality of international student education and cultivate more outstanding international students with a deeper understanding of and affinity for China.
