Notice of Registration for AAU 2024 New International Students

各位国际新生：

大家好！欢迎来到安徽农业大学学习！现就入学有关事项通知如下，请认真阅读并按时报到。

Dear new international students:

Hello, everyone! Welcome to study at Anhui Agricultural University. Please read the following information carefully and register according to the requirements.

一、遵守法律法规。国际学生在华期间必须遵守中国有关法律、当地法规以及校纪校规。为了让国际学生在留学期间更好地了解中国法律，避免出现因不懂法而触犯中国法律的事件发生，请知悉并遵守以下相关法律法规：

Obey laws and regulations. International students studying in China must abide by the relevant laws of the People's Republic of China, local regulations, as well as the rules and regulations of the university. In order to better understand Chinese laws during your study and avoid incidents that violate Chinese laws due to the ignorance of the law, please know and abide by the relevant laws and regulations.

(1) 根据《中华人民共和国宪法》和《中华人民共和国出境入境管理法》，在中国境内的外国人的合法权益和利益受法律保护，在中国境内的外国人应当遵守中国法律，不得危害中国国家安全、损害社会公共利益、破坏社会公共秩序。根据《中华人民共和国出境入境管理法》，外国人在中国境内期间应及时办理住宿登记，并自觉接受公安机关证件查验。同时，根据《中华人民共和国传染病防治法》《中华人民共和国国境卫生检疫法》《突发公共卫生事件应急条例》等法律法规的规定，为有效防控传染病传播，切实保障公众生命安全和身体健康，中国各级人民政府和相关部门依法组织实施监测、隔离等有关防疫抗疫措施，在中国境内外国人应予以配合。

According to Constitution of the People's Republic of China and Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, the legitimate rights and interests of foreigners in China shall be protected by laws. Foreigners in China shall abide by the Chinese laws, and shall not endanger China's national security, harm public interests and disrupt social and public order. According to Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, foreigners in China shall register their accommodation on time and comply with the identification inspection of public security organs.

(2) 中华人民共和国境内外国人宗教活动管理规定

中华人民共和国尊重在中国境内的外国人的宗教信仰自由，依法保护和管理境内外国人合法的宗教活动。外国人在中国境内可以根据自己的宗教信仰在依法登记的寺院、宫观、清真寺、教堂参加宗教活动。校内严禁进行传教及宗教聚集等活动。

Provisions on the Administration of Religious Activities of Foreigners within the Territory of the People's Republic of China

The People's Republic of China respects the freedom of religious belief of foreigners within Chinese territory, and protects and administrates the religious activities of foreigners within Chinese territory in accordance with law. Foreigners may participate in religious activities at lawfully registered Buddhist monasteries, Taoist temples, mosques, churches within Chinese territory according to their own religious belief. Missionary work or religious gatherings on campus are prohibited.

(3) 中华人民共和国治安管理处罚法

扰乱公共秩序，妨害公共安全，侵犯人身权利、财产权利，妨害社会管理，具有社会危害性，依照《中华人民共和国刑法》的规定构成犯罪的，依法追究刑事责任；尚不够刑事处罚的，由公安机关依照本法给予治安管理处罚。

Law of the People's Republic of China on Penalties for Administration of Public Security

The person who disturbs public order, endangers public safety, infringes on the rights of person and property or hampers social administration, which is harmful to the society and which, according to the provisions of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, constitutes a crime, shall be investigated for criminal responsibility according to the law. If such an act is not serious enough for criminal punishment, the public security organ shall impose on him a penalty for administration of public security according to this Law.

(4) 中华人民共和国禁毒法

《中华人民共和国禁毒法》是为了预防和惩治毒品违法犯罪行为，保护公民身心健康，维护社会稳定。本法所称毒品，是指鸦片、海洛因、甲基苯丙胺（冰毒）、吗啡、大麻、可卡因，以及国家规定管制的其他能够使人形成瘾癖的麻醉药品和精神药品。《中华人民共和国禁毒法》第五十九条：有下列行为之一，构成犯罪的，依法追究刑事责任；

尚不构成犯罪的，依法给予治安管理处罚：

（一）走私、贩卖、运输、制造毒品的；

（二）非法持有毒品的；

（三）非法种植毒品原植物的；

（四）非法买卖、运输、携带、持有未经灭活的毒品原植物种子或者幼苗的；

（五）非法传授麻醉药品、精神药品或者易制毒化学品制造方法的；

（六）强迫、引诱、教唆、欺骗他人吸食、注射毒品的；

（七）向他人提供毒品的。

Anti-Drug Law of the People's Republic of China

This Law is enacted for the purpose of preventing and punishing criminal offences related to narcotic drugs, protecting the health of citizens both in body and in mind and maintaining social order. For the purposes of this Law, narcotic drugs include opium, heroin, methylaniline (ice), morphine, marijuana, cocaine and other narcotic and psychotropic substances that are addictive and are kept under control according to state regulations. Article 59 Where a person commits any of the following acts, which constitutes a crime, he shall be investigated for criminal responsibility according to law; if the case is not serious enough to constitute a crime, a penalty for administration of public security shall be imposed on him according to law:

1) smuggling, selling, transporting or manufacturing narcotic drugs;

2) illegally possessing narcotic drugs;

3) illegally cultivating the mother plants of narcotic drugs;

4) illegally trafficking in, transporting, carrying or possessing the seeds or seedlings of the mother plants of narcotic drugs, which are not inactivated;

5) illegally imparting the methods for manufacturing narcotic or psychotropic substances or the chemical materials that can easily be transformed into narcotic drugs;

6) compelling, or instigating another person to ingest or inject drugs, or luring or inveigling him into doing so;

7) providing narcotic drugs to another person.

二、持录取通知书和学校规定的有关证件，按期到校办理入学手续。因故不能按期入学者，应书面（信函或电子邮件）向国际教育学院申请延期（邮箱：ioff@ahau.edu.cn），延期期限一般不得超过两周。未申请延期或者超过延期期限不报到的，除因不可抗力等正当事由外，视为放弃入学资格。

Bring your admission letter and other required documents to complete your registration accordingly by the deadline. New students unable to register on time for any reason should send a written request to the campus with relevant supporting materials and a copy to the International Students office at: ioff@ahau.edu.cn. The duration of the request generally should not exceed two weeks. New students who fail to register on time for more than two weeks will be deemed to as given up their admission status.

三、报到时间、地点及流程

报到时间：2024年8月31日(本科生）

2024年9月1日（研究生）

报到地点：智慧广场东侧道路国际教育学院

报到流程：

第一步：新生按照上述报到时间持有关材料于上午8点至12点前往智慧广场东侧道路国际教育学院报到点进行报到注册材料核验。

第二步：核验无问题后领取新生资料包。

第三步：完成报到注册后，由志愿者引导至宿舍。

Registration time, location and procedure

Registration time：August 31, 2024(undergraduate student)

               September 1, 2024(graduate student)

Registration location: The booth of School of International Education in the AAU Intelligence square

Registration procedure:

Step 1: The new student should bring related documents in the table according to the above required time and go to the college registration booth from 8am. to 12am. to have your documents checked.

Step 2: If there is no problem with your documents, you will receive a bag with student card and dormitory key in it.

Step 3: After the registration, the volunteer will lead new student to the dormitory.

四、购买保险

根据中国相关法律规定，所有来华留学生入境前必须提前购买保险，否则学校将予以退学或不予注册。如果你的奖学金包含保险费，那么学校将在你购买完成后的下一月返还保险费用。请全体新生按照以下保险购买指南自行购买。

Insurance purchase

According to relevant Chinese laws and regulations, all incoming international students must purchase insurance in advance before entering China, or the university will have the right to expel the student. If the health insurance is concluded in your scholarship, the university will refund the insurance fee to your bank card the next month. Please purchase the insurance with the help of guideline.

五、支付方式

在中国最便捷、最常使用的支付方式包括：支付宝付款、微信付款。

Payment

The most convenient and commonly used payment methods in China include: Alipay payment and WeChat payment.

第一步：下载支付宝APP（国际版），并注册账号；

第二步：绑定银行卡，下列银行卡都可以使用；

Step 1: Download and register (International version) .

Step 2: Add bank card. The following bank cards are all acceptable.

Step 3: Make payments.

第一步：下载或更新微信APP

第二步：找到微信支付入口

第三步：填写身份信息和绑定银行卡，下列银行卡都可以使用；

How to use Wechat for payment?

Step 1: Download and register WeChat app.

Step 2: Where to find Weixin Pay.

Step3: Fill in your identity information and add a card. The following bank cards are all acceptable.

六、学校会经常举行各类活动，建议大家带一套具有自己国家特色的衣服，以便在参加一些文化交流活动中使用。

It is recommended to take a suit of special costume of your own country, so as to participate in some cultural exchange activities when studying in China.

七、报到期间，校园周边人员、车辆较多，新生要提高警惕，加强防范，不要轻信陌生号码的来电和短信，有问题及时与学院老师联系，防止意外事件发生。

During the registration period, there are many people and vehicles around the campus, so new students should be vigilant, strengthen precautions, do not trust calls and text messages from unfamiliar people, and contact the counselor in time if you have problems.
