The University Organizes International Students to Participate in the 2026 2nd West Huangshan Tea-Tourism Carnival

本网讯 4月18日，学校组织近二十名来华留学生赴池州市石台县西黄山茶叶实业有限公司和石台茶科技小院参加2026年第二届西黄山茶旅嘉年华活动。我校留学生全程参与，沉浸式感受皖南乡村的蓬勃活力与茶旅产业的发展魅力。

On April 18, the university organized nearly twenty international students in China to participate in the 2nd 2026 West Huangshan Tea Tourism Carnival at Shitai West Huangshan Tea Industry Co., Ltd. and Shitai Tea Science and Technology Backyard in Shitai, Chizhou. The international students took part in this activity and experienced the vibrant vitality of southern Anhui’s countryside and the development charm of the tea-tourism integration industry in an immersive way.

留学生们走进生态茶园，跟随茶农学习茶叶采摘、摊青、杀青等传统制茶工序，指尖穿梭于嫩绿茶丛，亲身感受“一芽一叶皆匠心”的茶文化内涵。大家还观摩了传统茶道表演，品鉴石台特色好茶，在茶色氤氲中领悟中国茶文化的典雅与深厚。

The international students walked into the ecological tea garden, learning traditional tea-making processes such as tea picking, withering and fixation from local tea farmers. Their fingers shuttled through the tender green tea bushes, personally feeling the cultural connotation of tea that “every single bud and leaf embodies meticulous craftsmanship”. They also watched traditional tea performances and tasted special high-quality teas from Shitai, comprehending the elegance and profundity of Chinese tea culture amid the tea aroma.

“这是我第一次走进真实的茶园，亲手采茶、制茶，太有趣了！”来自泰国的留学生林平平激动地说，“中国的茶文化博大精深，石台的风景也很美，这次活动让我更了解安徽，也更热爱中国文化，我还想带茶叶回国给我的家人品尝。”留学生们纷纷表示，此次茶旅体验不仅增长了见识、开阔了视野，更搭建了文化交流的桥梁，让他们在实践中深化了对中国乡村振兴、茶文化传承的认知与理解。

“It’s my first time stepping into a real tea garden and picking and making tea with my own hands—it’s so much fun!” said Lin Pingping, an international student from Thailand. “Chinese tea culture is extensive and profound, and the scenery of Shitai is stunning. This activity has helped me know Anhui better and develop an affection for Anhui. I also want to bring tea back to my family to taste.” The international students all expressed that this tea-tourism experience not only broadened their knowledge and horizons, but also built a bridge for cultural exchanges, deepening their understanding of China’s rural revitalization and the inheritance of tea culture through practice.

国际教育学院依托安徽地域文化特色与学校农林学科优势，常态化组织来华留学生开展茶文化体验、乡村研学、非遗体验等各类文化实践活动，助力留学生读懂中国、爱上安徽。未来，学院将继续深耕中外文化交流，搭建更多沉浸式文化体验平台，推动中华文化更好走向世界。

Relying on the regional cultural characteristics of Anhui and the university’s advantages in agriculture and forestry disciplines, the School of International Education, Anhui Agricultural University regularly organizes cultural practice activities for international students in China, such as tea culture experiences, rural research tours and intangible cultural heritage experiences, helping international students understand China and love Anhui. In the future, we will continue to deepen cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, build more immersive cultural experience platforms, and promote the spread of Chinese culture to the world.
